9th Leg of NAsFOR-Maxxis 4×4 Cup: Extreme Off-Road Challenge Update

Published: May 09, 2018

Extreme is the theme and has always been for the National Association of Filipino Off-Roaders (NAsFOR) and Maxxis 4×4 Cup Extreme Off-road Challenge!

It’s not just because of the track that make it a tough completion but it’s also that tough ass-determination of the competitors all vying for the best time. September 16 and 17 saw us at Libona, Bukidnon for the 9th out of 13 races for the year 2017.

The local government of Libona headed by Mayor Leonardo Genisi Calingsan opened the event with a ceremonial run and was present the whole race up to the awarding ceremonies

This time we’ve got not just one but two female competitors (Jessa Lim from Gen San and Karen Pagquil from Pampanga) for the Extreme Class. Unfortunately, Jessa consumed the maximum allowable time on her 1st run and Karen wasn’t able to continue Track B due to mechanical problems.

While the local hero, Robert Abas lives up to his title as Mr. Excitement flips his buggy on the mudpit.

We are now down to the last 4 races for the year and heading up to Luzon for the 10th Leg this September 30th and Ocotber 1st at Luabo, Pampanga, we’ll see you there!
